Tim Cho is a player for Columbia University and an alumnus of University of Illinois Lab. He was the captain of the 2018-19 Uni A Team which won the 2019 IHSA State Finals, placed second at the 2019 HSNCT and third at the 2019 NSC. During the 2018-19 season, he was one of the strongest history players and generalists in Illinois and played in the 2019 National History Bee. He was a member of the Illinois All-State First Team in 2018 and 2019, and played for Team Illinois at the 2019 NASAT.
Tim appeared on the 2018 Jeopardy! Teen Tournament, where he was eliminated in the semifinals by eventual champion Claire Sattler by just one dollar after Sattler's answer of "rotations per minute" was accepted as a meaning for "RPM".
