Matt Cvijanovich is a former Iowa State and Illinois player. He won at least one scoring title [1] and had other strong results throughout 2004. [2] [3]
After his tragic passing in 2005, he became the namesake of the circuit's premier spring junior bird tournament, the Matt Cvijanovich Memorial Novice Tournament. His memory also inspired a philanthropic program to give buzzers to new programs. [4]
