Jonathan Hess played for Irmo in South Carolina until he graduated in 2002. He was the top scorer at the HSNCT twice, and he captained what Chip Beall claimed was the greatest team he ever saw, twice winning NAC. The fact that 8th graders are allowed to play at NAC is known as the Jonathan Hess Rule. It is likely that he attended Georgia Tech.
