The Mid-Atlantic Championship was a regional championship tournament held by VCU in 2010 and 2011. It was intended to determine the best team in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and the District of Columbia as well as give teams in those states the opportunity to play a hard NAQT set in preparation for HSNCT. Low interest in the concept, difficulty communicating to less active teams that a harder tournament might not be right for them, a lack of a good weekend to put the event on, and the increasing use of the SCT set at other tournaments led to the tournament being discontinued.
St. Anselm's reached the final in both years that the tournament was held.
