Ron McGraw is the IHSA Assistant Executive Director in charge of Scholastic Bowl, although he has no background in quizbowl or any other form of academic competition. He is primarily known for firing an editor for reporting plagiarized questions (see IHSA plagiarism scandal) and for contradicting himself on many points, such as whether Illinois high school teams may play college tournaments.
