in 2004, Maggie Walker spent the year coming up short to an excellent Thomas Jefferson team. At nationals they finished second at the NAQT HSNCT but dealt Thomas Jefferson an extremely rare loss in the finals at the PACE NSC to take the prize in one of the most thrilling quizbowl matches ever.
