Jon Pinyan

Jon Pinyan is the coach of Bergen County Academies and a former player for them as well as WUSTL. His most prominent role in national quiz bowl is as a control room staffer or statistics director, a role he has served at 2010 HSNCT, 2011 NASAT, 2013 and 2014 NHBB, 2013 and 2014 NSC, and 2014 ACF Nationals.

He has an unmatched reputation for leaving important stuff behind at big tournaments, ranging from credit cards lost at 2010 NSC to his computer's power cord at 2014 ACF to a folder full of his students' tests at 2014 NSC.
