AISA
The Alabama Independent School Association provides services such as athletics to Alabama private schools. AISA hosts a scholars' bowl program, which partners with ASCA at the High school level and uses NAQT-sets. They host district tournaments in January and February for both middle school and high school levels. Top teams from the district tournaments qualify for the AISA State Championships at both levels. Winners of the High School championship automatically advance to the ASCA High School State Championship. The total number of AISA teams is considerably smaller than the number of ASCA teams, due to not all Alabama private schools being part of the AISA Scholars' Bowl Program.
