Gowri founded the Inglemoor Quizbowl team in 2013, and led it, with mild success, until 2016.
As the Co-President of the 2015-2016 Inglemoor Quizbowl team (and the sometimes top player on the team), Gowri was known for basically just "memeing around" the whole time. Despite this, he single-handedly organized most of Inglemoor's practice schedule and participation in local quizbowl contests.
The highlight of Gowri's quizbowl career was when Michael Bentley told him to stop saying "ya boi" before every answer, or his team "would be disqualified".
