Palos Verdes Peninsula High School is a 9-12 high school in Rolling Hills Estates, California, in the Los Angeles area. Palos Verdes Peninsula is (or was) coached by Cathy Gamble and Eva Stamper. Palos Verdes Peninsula attended the 1999 HSNCT, 2000 HSNCT, and 2001 HSNCT. Palos Verdes Peninsula either tied for 2nd or placed third (results are unclear) at the 2000 NAQT California State Championship. The team attended the USC High School Invitational in December 2003 and placed second at the March 2003 Capistrano Valley Tournament in the JV division. Since then, the school does not appear to have participated in quizbowl.
