VHSL Class 6A
VHSL Class 6A contains schools with the largest enrollment sizes that participate in VHSL Scholastic Bowl. The class was formed, along with the entire system, in the 2014 VHSL Realignment, which overhauled the Scholastic Bowl system. Four teams from the class compete against each other in the VHSL State Championship to decide the 6A state title. Schools in the 6A class are divided into the 6A North and 6A South regions. Each region sends the top two teams from its regional championship to the state championship. The regions are further divided into conferences, the top two teams from which advance to regionals.
