The 1999 Edmonson County High School Academic Team's varsity squad consisted of Jeff Prewitt (captain), Dustin Luttrell, Jonathan Lawson, Robbyn Pauley, and Alan Florence. The team was coached by Howard White and Jamie Carnes.

The 1999 team currently holds the school record for most wins in a season, amassing a final record of 102-27. The team also won its third consecutive Single A State Championship, defeating Paintsville HS in the final match.

The team participated in the DC phase of the 1999 National Academic Championship, and finished 56th in rank with a preliminary record of 2-2.
