Michigan State University is a state university in East Lansing, MI. Its quiz bowl team is formally known as the Academic Competition Club. They traditionally host the Michigan High School Quiz Bowl State Championship every year in April and have occasionally hosted the NAQT Michigan Championship. A Michigan State team notably finished third in Division II at the 2012 ICT. They were also the third place undergraduate team at 2014 ACF Nationals.
Led by notorious memer Jakob Myers, Michigan State reclaimed national attention starting in 2017, winning the DI undergraduate title at the 2019 ICT
