The Hotchkiss history bowl program, from The Hotchkiss School in Salisbury, CT, known as Team Coldhug, was established during the 2018-19 academic year. Their most notable achievement came when freshman Cooper Roh led them to a 2nd place finish at the 2019 National History Bowl finals after an impressive Cinderella run in the tournament. They finished runners-up to a #1-ranked Hunter College A team that was led by Pedro Juan Orduz.
