2015 MSHSAA State Championship
The 2015 MSHSAA State Championship was held on May 8-9, 2015. Classes 1 and 2 competed on Friday and Classes 3 and 4 played on Saturday.
Questions for Districts and State were provided by NAQT for the fifth year. The use of existing sets for some questions made three A sets (137A, 139A, 143A) and one IS set (146) unavailable for use during the regular season in Missouri.
Districts
Sixteen district tournaments in each of the four classes were held on April 18. District championship game matchups are posted here
Sectionals
The Sectionals round was the first round of the state championship and took place on April 29. Sectionals consisted of best two-of-three matchups between the winners of two adjacent districts. The winner of each sectional advanced to the remaining rounds of the state championship.

State Finals
The Class 1 and 2 state finals were held May 8, and the Class 3 and 4 state finals were held May 9. As always, finals consisted of three preliminary rounds with a pre-determined schedule based on sectional, followed by a 4-team single-elimination bracket.

Records
- Hallsville's 2610 total points set a new Class 3 record, surpassing the 2585 points Savannah scored in 2004.
- Thomas Jefferson's 2460 points was ninth place among all team performances to date and was just 20 points short of the Class 1 record, but did set an overall record for most points by a team that did not win their class.
- The single-game records in three of the four classes were broken:
- Hallsville's 650 points in the semifinals broke Cuba's record of 640 points set in the inaugural state championship in 1996, which stood as the record in all classes for 16 years until Ladue broke it many times in 2012. Hallsville is the third school to reach 650 points in a game.
- Richland's 590 points in round 1 broke their own Class 2 record of 550, set in 2001.
- Thomas Jefferson broke the Class 1 single-game record for a second consecutive year with 570 points in round 2, surpassing their previous mark of 550.
- William Gentry's total of 67 tossups is believed to be the most by a freshman in the tournament's first 20 years.
