Selene Koo is a quizbowl player for the University of Chicago, where she has played from 2002 to the present. Selene is in an MD/PhD program, and is currently working on her doctorate in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She previously played with Berkeley from 1998-2002.

Selene played on a Chicago A team that took 1st place at the 2007 ICT with Peter Austin, Seth Samelson and Seth Teitler.

Selene played on a Chicago A team that took 1st place at the 2007 ACF Nationals with Peter Austin, Susan Ferrari and Seth Teitler.

Selene played on a Chicago A team that took 1st place at the 2008 ACF Nationals with Susan Ferrari and Seth Teitler.

Selene played on a Chicago A team that took 1st place at the 2009 ICT with Shantanu Jha, David Seal and Seth Teitler.

Most recently, Selene played on a Chicago A team that took 1st place at the 2009 ACF Nationals with Shantanu Jha, Michael Arnold, and Seth Teitler.

Tournament editing and writing

Selene helped edit the 2005 ACF Fall set, and helped write the John Stuart Mill Open and the 2006 EFT set.
