Tagwi Secondary School is a rural small school in Avonmore, southeast of Ottawa, Ontario.
In 1989, a team from Tagwi won the first Reach for the Top championship in the post-CBC era. Due to outside disputes, Tagwi never received the Reach trophy. Since their victory, the only other small school team to win the title was 1993 St. Joseph's.
The Tagwi team is still active in the St. Lawrence region, though not at its former level of greatness. Tagwi recently sent teams to a tournament at Lisgar.
