The Canadian Question Bee was a quiz competition for high schools in Eastern Ontario in the 1960s.

The Question Bee aired on the Kingston affiliate of the CBC from 1961-64, before Reach for the Top had a national audience. This was the same time period as the CBC radio program I.Q. Arthur Phelps was the host; starting at age 78, he is possibly the only quiz personality born in the 1880s.

Quinte Secondary School won in 1961. The University of Manitoba holds Mr. Phelps' archives, which include scripts, footage, and news clippings of the Question Bee.
