Talk:Buzzer fake
This is a fun article, but if I'm not mistaken aren't buzzer fakes now considered minor misconduct? See e.g. PACE rules: "The use of psychological ploys, in an attempt to confuse or misdirect the opposing teamor the moderator, constitutes minor misconduct. (E.g.: performing a "buzzer fake" by pretending to buzz in to lure the other team into buzzing in for real, sneakily buzzing in for another member of one's own team, etc.)" Think that should be made clear here.-Chris Chiego
The "psychological ploys" rule has been part of the PACE ruleset since the beginning, for reasons that require naming specific people's behaviors and probably don't need to be on the public wiki. Good luck proving that a buzzer fake was an intentional "psychological ploy," I guess. Matt Weiner (talk) 02:14, 10 December 2020 (CST)
