Trans-World Top Team was a quiz show for high school students based on CBC's Reach for the Top and BBC's Top of the Form. In 1968, three Canadian teams played against British teams, with five matches in Canada and five in the UK. Games were hosted by Alex Trebek and Geoffrey Wheller and aired on CBC in the fall.
The show made two separate revivals in 1970. There was a joint (bilingual?) program between British and Dutch teams in the UK, while in North America, Canadian teams faced off against Hawaiian teams in Honolulu.
Reach for the Top head Sandy Stewart produced the 1968 show and the Canada-Hawaii edition.
