Pre-Holiday Academic Tournament

The Vermont-NEA Scholars' Bowl launched in Pre-Holiday Academic Tournament in 2007 as a way to offer Vermont schools easier access to national tournament qualification. The event, which is held at South Burlington High School on a Friday afternoon in December, has quickly grown to become the premier toss-up bonus event in Northern New England.
The first two editions of the event each drew 28 teams, with schools attending from Vermont, New York, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
