2007 SOCIAL

The 2007 St. Olaf College Invitational Academic Learnament (SOCIAL IV) was an MQBA-run tournament held on October 27, 2007. It was attended by 27 teams, but a 28-team format was used due to a late drop by [St. Paul Central].
Format
SOCIAL IV was run on NAQT IS-#69A, which used the regular NAQT tossup and bonus format. The prelims were done using four pools of seven teams, with the top sixteen teams advancing into single-elimination playoff rounds.
Results
Eden Prairie A defeated Wayzata A in the finals to take first place, and Chaska A beat Minnetonka A in the third place match. The top scorer at the tournament was Michael Wright, and more extensive statistics and a writeup can be found here.
