Winston Churchill Middle School is a 6-8 middle school in Carmichael, California, near Sacramento. Churchill is coached by Bruce Hansen. In 2019 their A team finished 2nd, the B team tied for 13th, and the C team was 113th. Churchill finished tied for 13th at the 2016 MSNCT.
2021 MSNCT
The Churchill team at the 2021 MSNCT, held online due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, was captained by Aatreyo Bhattacharyya. Churchill posted a preliminary record of 7-1, only losing to Herberger. In the playoffs, they lost to Longfellow A, only to later beat them in the finals 445-115 after a 6-neg performance from Longfellow leading scorer Deven Hagen, winning the tournament.
