Since IS sets currently come in 12- and 13- packet versions, it is not desirable to run a round-robin schedule of more than 11 rounds if a traditional two-game finals series is included in the format; even in the extreme scenario of "straight round robin with no final and no backup questions," the maximum tournament length on an IS set is, of course, 13 rounds.
