Joy An is a player at and the current captain of the Choate quizbowl team. They played on Connecticut's NASAT team in 2021 and 2022.
Joy was a panelist at the 2022 David Riley Coaches Conference and Women in Quizbowl Panel at the 2022 NSC. They are also currently editing Not About Straight White Men, a side event focusing on non-straight white men who are currently underrepresented in the high school quizbowl canon that will be played in 2023.
