H.F.E.A.
H.F.E.A. is an inter-school team comprised of several private international schools throughout Mainland China, and is China's biggest active quiz bowl training group as of 2022. Its founder is Charles Chen. During the 2022 NAQT China event, H.F.E.A. cultivated lots of high-level quiz bowl players in China, including the 2022 Chinese Finals champion, Tsinglan School. Its members also include 2021 Chinese Semifinalist Fred Fang and Elgin Academy B Captain Gary Wang
Founding
In the beginning, H.F.E.A. was the name for a team that participated in the 2022 NAQT Chinese Final Qualification event. The name is a combination of the Chinese school Huafu International and the American high school Elgin Academy. In the qualification event, H.F.E.A. delivered a 4-1 record and qualified for the Chinese Final.
Becoming a Training Group
After qualifying for the Chinese Final, H.F.E.A. got disbanded as a quiz bowl team due to its player Gary Wang was not able to play in the further events. However, H.F.E.A. transformed to become a quiz bowl training group. Many quiz bowl players in China use H.F.E.A. as a tool to practice and scrimmage with others.

Members Gary Wang, Victor Che, and Yuda Hua have organized and moderated many local NAQT tournaments (via SKT) between April and July of 2022
