Pareekshith Krishna (Class of 2023) plays for Mission San Jose in Fremont, California and will be a member of Carnegie Mellon University's Class of 2027, possibly playing for the school's team.
Notable Achievements
In his first year of quiz bowl, he won 2nd place at the Elementary Division for the 2017 Academic Bee as well as 13th place at the 2017 MSNCT. He was the NAQT Middle School Player of the Week during the 2018 season, a semifinalist for History Bee and Academic Bee in 2018, a finalist in the 2018 Humanities Bee, a 2018 MSNCT All Star, and a nominee for the National Middle School A Team. In 2019, he was a semifinalist for History Bee and Academic Bee, won 3rd place at the MS IPNCT, 3rd place in the JV division of the JV National History Bee and Bowl, 3rd place at the 2019 Humanities Bee, and led Hopkins to a bronze finish at the 2019 MSNCT as the tournament's second-highest scorer.
