Sarah Benner is a former player for Purdue and Avon High School. She is a freelance writer, editor, moderator, and TD, as well as a proponent for improving quiz bowl in the state of Indiana.

Benner has been a subject editor for the 2020 and 2021 iterations of ACF Fall. She also acted as head editor for Boilermaker Spring Novice, a spiritual successor to Spring Undergraduate Novice produced by the Purdue Quiz Bowl Team, and contributed questions to SHOW-ME More.

Benner has acted as a writer, editor, and tournament director for multiple vanity trash sets. These sets include MVP [1], an open-difficulty set by Andy Schingel on audiovisual media with a heavy focus on opera and film; and Lore Dump 2: More Lore, a difficult trash set by Patrick Quion with emphasis on TV shows and pop literature.
