Carlinville High School is a public high school in Carlinville, Illinois, which is about midway between Saint Louis and Springfield. It currently competes as a member of the South Central Conference. It also competes in Class A, the "small school" division, of the Illinois High School Association's (IHSA) State Championship Series.

The team was a major power for many years under the leadership of Jim Fenton, finishing 2nd in the IHSA Class A Tournament in 2001 and 2003, and finishing 3rd in 1998. Fenton is a Charter Member of the IHSSBCA Hall of Fame.
