Galesburg High School, is a public high school in Galesburg, Illinois which is in western Illinois halfway between the Quad Cities & Peoria. It competes in Class AA, the "large" school division of the Illinois High School Association's State Championship series. Galesburg competes in the Western Big 6 athletic conference and has competed in regional tournaments like the IHSSBCA Kickoff.
At one time, the Galesburg Rotary hosted one of the earliest Illinois scholastic bowl events in western Illinois. Like other Rotary events such as the Streator Rotary, this event was a precursor to today's Macomb Rotary in the region.
