Preston High School has been a prominent team in Oklahoma quizbowl for decades, in both pyramidal and non-pyramidal quizbowl, since winning their first ever OSSAA State Championship in 1989, and strengthened by their win in 2022 and their runner-up placement in 2024. Preston is a regular at local OSSAA tournaments and an occasional participant in NAQT tournaments. Preston's main rival is Morris, whose school is only 13 miles southeast.
