2025 OAC Regionals
The 2025 OAC Regional Tournaments were held at various sites around Ohio on April 12, 2025, to determine the teams who would advance to the 2025 OAC State Tournament.
Format
Five different regional tournaments were held at these sites:

Each tournament had a double-elimination format, with between 14 and 15 teams participating from each region. After a team lost two games, they would be placed into a consolation bracket with teams who lost in the same round as them, or in the case of the teams losing in the first two rounds of the losers' bracket, all together (new for the 2025 season).
Teams were seeded based on a 50-question seeding test given before the first round of play. Highly-seeded teams received first-round byes depending on how many teams were in their region.
The top two placing teams from each region would automatically advance to the state tournament. The other six state tournament qualifiers (wild cards) were determined based on a formula using controllable points (the amount of points scored on team and alphabet round questions) across all regions. Teams could not be considered for a wild-card berth if a team who placed in front of them in their region failed to qualify, the second season this rule was in effect.

Little Miami and St. Xavier received auto-bids to States. Walnut Hills (63.2 CPPG), Cincinnati Hills (57.6), Anderson (58.0), and Indian Hill (52.4) received the 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th wild-card bids to States, respectively. Madeira had the same CPPG value as Indian Hill, but their loss in the consolation bracket to them meant Indian Hill won the tiebreaker with a higher placement.
