Washington, D.C. Panasonic Team

Washington, D.C. has sent an all-star team to Panasonic Academic Challenge in many years, winning the tournament in 2001. Douglas Tyson was the major DC Panasonic Coach, winning the entire event, in the early 2000s and continuing to present excellent teams throughout his tenure in that position. Afterwards Susan Ikenberry of Georgetown Day School coached the team until the tournament ceased to exist in 2009.
