Collegiate team poll

College quizbowl has periodically conducted national ranking polls. Context suggests that the first one was in the 1992-1993 season. Before the unified poll, there were separate "ACF Top 15" and "College Bowl Top 20" polls. Debate over how to rank teams relative to the wildly varying formats of the 1990s was a constant feature at the time. It is believed that polls were conducted at least three times a year from 1992 to 2010, but not all of them are preserved in the archives of the various communications fora. The poll was revived as an official project of hsquizbowl.org in 2013.
