Jamie Van Wagenen

Jamie Van Wagenen was a Computer Science student at the University of Washington from 2014-2018. They served as President of the UW Quizbowl team from 2016 until their graduation in December 2018. Before then, they stood as treasurer for the 2015-2016 season; after graduation, they took on an advisory role (somewhat diminutive of Mike Bentley's before he decided to have a kid and stop showing up) until they flamed out with the pandemic.

Before college, they played for a Knowledge Bowl team at North Central High School in Spokane, Washington, where their team got 6th place at Regionals in 2014 and got crushed at State in 2013 and 2014.

Through college, their gave their first name as "Jefferson." This is a deadname, however, and should no longer be used. Their pronouns are they/she.
