Hello all. My name is Christopher White, and I am the new President of our College Bowl Team. You can reach me at cwhite2_at_.... I enter into this position, as many of you probably know, with a team that lost much of its good reputation last year (hosting a snafu-filled NAQT Sectionals; caneling a tournament due to severe underregistration; not coming to Nationals); and I have been charged with the job of essentially rebuilding our team, and our reputation. Although I am fairly inexperienced; I have been in consultation with competent, experienced people of Swat College Bowl past; and I am determined to see this through to completion. If any of you have advice for me and my team on quizbowl-related matters, I would be be very greatful to recieve it. Our website should be updated shortly; probably in a week or so. Now that I'm out of the way with my overlong introduction, I have an announcement to make. We will be hosting our annual juniorbird tournament, SNEWT VII, on Saturday November 16th. It will be packet- submission, ACF-ish; I will post detailed information about registration, directions, and packet requirements within the next two days; as we settle on the details. I know that we traditionally hold this tournament earlier in the year; but I want to make sure that there is enough time to put everything in place. We are also planning to re-establish QOTC; we should have the date for that in a couple of weeks (the tournanent will be probably be March or early April).
