It certainly would eliminate bad science tossups. I don't know how
many people here attended Berkeley's Science Masters tournament that
was held over the summer (not many) but I think that those
questions, written by people who have deep knowledge in the subject,
are good examples of what a good science question should look like.
I think the questions are available on the Stanford Archive if
someone wants to look them up.
