Viva TRASH Vegas - Hotel and Airline Announcements

    TRASH (Testing Recall About Strange Happenings) is happy to 
announce that the Hampton Inn Tropicana will host the first-ever 
TRASH Summer Blowout aka Viva TRASH Vegas.  The event will take place 
the weekend of July 11-13, 2003 on the grounds of the hotel.

    The Hampton Inn Tropicana is located 1/4 mile from the famed Las 
Vegas Strip - walking distance from such hotels as the MGM Grand, 
Excalibur and New York-New York.  The hotel features free 24-hour 
shuttle van service to the airport, Strip and downtown, free 
continental breakfast, swimming pool, fitness center and 24-hour 
lobby bar and deli.

    TRASH has reserved a minimum of 25 guest rooms at the Hampton Inn 
Tropicana at a rate of $79/night.  To reserve a room, call the hotel 
at (877) 584-6835.  Mention you are with the "Testing Recall About 
Strange Happenings" group to get the rate.

    TRASH is also pleased to announce that it has reached an 
agreement with Southwest Airlines to provide air travel for players, 
game officials, etc.  Attendees will receive 10 percent off most of 
SWA's fares to Las Vegas.

    To make a reservation, call the airline at (800) 433-5368.  
Mention "Testing Recall About Strange Happenings" as well as the 
following I.D. Code - J8604 - to receive the discount.  Southwest 
also advises that reservations not be made until January-February.

    If you are interested in attending Viva TRASH Vegas and you want 
to fly, but Southwest doesn't service your closest airport, e-mail me 
at jdinan_at_... and TRASH will work out a deal with another 
airline.

    Given the large amount of posts that appear daily on this page, I 
am going to post more information on said tournament on the qbtrash 
Y! group.  So if you are interested in said tournament, I recommend 
subscribing to qbtrash ASAP.

    One other thing - this tournament will be different from other 
tourneys as this will be a benefit for Teach for America.  All 
proceeds (minus expenses) will go to this organization - TRASH is not 
collecting a dime.
