A possible factor in the lack of quality questions could be that the
regular circuit (jr. birds aside) has become quite inaccessible
compared to the "days of yore" like, you know, six or seven years
ago. Therefore, the majority of writers are less familiar with the
topics they feel they are supposed to be writing about, which fairly
obviously leads to poorer questions.
Now, I'm not offering this as an excuse for laziness but just as a
thought that needs consideration. We have discussed and discussed
how the gap between the hs and college circuit is widening. It seems
logical that question writing would be affected by this as well.
