ACF Fall Midwest at ISU Update and 2nd announcement

Hello.


So far these are the teams I have signed up for ACF Fall Midwest at 
Iowa State (Sat. Nov 2nd)

Chicago (1 team)
Illinois (2-3 teams)
Carlton (verbal interest   1-2 teams)

This should be a great tournament, especially for younger players 
(first or second year of intercollegiate play) who won't have to 
submit a packet.  If you are at all interested in playing, please get 
in contact with me as soon as possible.  Those teams that would need 
to submit a packet and haven't done so yet should either send the 
packet to Kelly McKenzie by Oct 18th or get in contact with him very 
soon.


The details of the tourament are as follows

The fee structure will run as follows: 

Base Fee: $100 
-$10 for operational buzzer 
-$20 for experienced game official 
-$20 for all teams after the first (not progressive) 
Packet Deadlines and Discounts:

9/20 -$25 
9/27 -$10 
10/4 - no penalty 
10/11 +$15 
10/18 +$30 
Packets should be sent to tournament editor Kelly McKenzie at 
ksmcke0_at_... (ksmcke0 at hotmail dot com). Kelly will not 
accept packets later than 10/18 unless previous arrangements are made.

The minimum fee for the tournament will be $50.

All teams are expected to write packets unless they meet the 
requirements posted on the ACF Fall Webpage 
http://www.dpo.uab.edu/~paik/acf/fall.html

This site will also show the packet requirements, difficulty level, 
formatting requirements etc.

Teams interesting in attending the Midwest tournament can register 
with me (Matt Cvijanovich) at bigc_at_... (bigc at iastate dot 
edu)
