It's about a 1:45 drive in good traffic to Chattanooga, as I actually did it for Muck Masters this year. [And back, leaving after midnight after dinner at Provino's!] However, both Oak Ridge, and the oh-so-lovely town of Knoxville, are prototypical "one-street towns": think thirty to forty miles of Breezewood, PA (or your own personal favorite suburban strip mall from hell), combine it with the tackiness of signage from Las Vegas, and you have a rough idea of what life is like in those two towns. Not the easiest sell for a tournament. :-) And I'd suggest that Pacific Northwest Lab is even worse. LANL is at least just two hours from Albuquerque. PN(N)L is four hours east of *Spokane*. --AEI
