UF College Bowl held the Fall 2002 High School Tournament December 6th and 7th, with 48 total teams in attendance. The 32 Division I teams competed in four 8-team brackets in two 16-team divisions. After seven rounds of Round Robin, the top two teams in each bracket faced off against the top two teams in the other bracket of their divisions for three rounds of RR, with the top team in each division facing off in a final. The 16 teams in Division II used a similar system, with the top two teams playing each other in the final. In Division I, Rickards A took the championship, winning a close final game 305-275 against Brookwood A, who took home the second place trophy. Grant Hutchinson of Woodham was the top individual scorer with 77.14 points per game, followed by Ibraheem Mohammed of Niceville A, Marti Bolivar of Lincoln A, Daniel Bryant of West Orange, and Alex Gapud of Brookwood A. In the much-contested Division II, Ransom Everglades B won first place after a 225-110 performance against second-place Niceville B. Top individual scorer of Division II was Guy David of Ransom Everglades B with 44.29 points per game, followed by Cain Norris of Rickards C, Jay Sridhar of Ransom Everglades B, Brandon Horn of Vanguard B, and Jay Dunkelberger of Leon C. Special thanks to all of the moderators and scorekeepers, along with the coaches who volunteered to moderate.
