I for one am willing to believe it might actually *be* Isaac Bickerstaff. I mean, think about it: Cloning technology has been going forward by leaps and bounds. Once you'd cloned Jonathan Swift and implanted the clone with Swift's memories, it'd be no trouble at all to ply him with psychoactive drugs and induce a breakdown in which he believed he actually *was* Isaac Bickerstaff. Being knowledgeable in pre-Victorian English literature, Mr. "Bickerstaff" would, naturally, gravitate toward quiz bowl; from there, it seems inevitable that he, like so many of us, would develop a Magic Toeshoes relationship with Zeke. Therefore, he's probably devastated right now and we shouldn't mock him in his time of need.
