Mike is the man. No one has come close to his Missouri high school scoring record, he built Arkansas into a program, he dominated as a one-man machine that one year for UMKC, and now he's leading the minions at Yale. I played with him in the Chicago Open last summer; he is great, and his only losses in the Chicago singles tourney came to Raj and Kelly while Mike beat R, Hilleman, and Nathan F. I can only hope to be as good as Mike and end up playing for Yale. Jason Mueller #5 in Missouri high school history behind Mike Wehrman, Melissa McCush, Adam Hill, and Sean Phillips. --- In quizbowl_at_yahoogroups.com, jpahk <no_reply_at_y...> wrote: > what the hell? did somebody lose a bet? regardless, this is amusing, > even though i've never seen mike wehrman play quizbowl. > > joon > > --- In quizbowl_at_yahoogroups.com, nate_1729 <no_reply_at_y...> wrote: > > All -- > > > > In the pantheon of modern-day quizbowl greats one name is all-too- > > frequently omitted, that of the eminent medieval historian Mike > > Wehrman. > > > > Watching Mike Wehrman play quizbowl is like looking into the face > of > > God.
