Actually Will was our top scorer at this tournament, not me. The top scorer overall was a guy named Steve from Robert Morris, who, although we only played them on the second day of play on which I forgot to bring the printouts inviting people to Ironhead (D'oh), seems to have our contact info anyway. BTW the only teams who have expressed interest in Ironhead at Pitt (March 29th) are Carnegie Mellon and Robert Morris. Quite a local affair so far. Other notes: Our first loss was to Mount St. Mary's because we hadn't shown up at 7 PM on Friday, thanks to a number of complicating factors. Wheeling Jesuit and Robert Morris managed to show up on time, so we should have too. Our third loss was to Moravian because we only had two people at the match and a minimum of three is required to compete. Our other two members had wandered off because the game was at 1:00 despite the schedule saying it was at 1:30. Other teams had similar confusion with the schedule with this round in particular, but we had a bye just beforehand so we had more of an opportunity to wander off. We were lucky to beat Georgetown in our first playoff game against them; if the bonus intros weren't on average twice as long as the tossups, and if bonuses were allowed to continue when the round ends in the middle of the bonus, they would have at least been able to tie the game instead of waiting desperately through useless clues until the moderator finally said, after running out of time, the actual helpful clue ("Paraguay").
