I'll chime in as well on how great playing at WIT3 was. The
questions were very well written and very enjoyable to play on. I
did think some of the science questions were a tad too easy (in
particular the oxidation numbers bonus), but that's merely a minor
quibble with what is an excellent question set.
The tournament was also well run, and if it was a bit short at 10
rounds I wasn't entirely disappointed since Matt and I had an 11 hour
drive ahead of us. I feel that the trip was well worth it though, as
this was the best tournament I've been to this year.
In response to Wesley's comments about the Great Rift Valley
question, I don't know much about geography but I was thinking bodies
of water until about halfway through the question.
For all those unfortunate souls who didn't get a chance to play on
these questions, I'd make sure to download them and use them in
practice. It might also be a good idea to read through them and see
how to right quality questions.
