Beer Bowl III: Bauhaus of Pain (perhaps better known this year as the Buffy and Buccaneer Bowl) was twice and large and three times as successful as the previous Beer Bowl. Thank you for all the teams who showed up to make this grueling day of trash bowling possible. Because of the success of this tournament, we won't be killing off the Beer Bowl franchise, and we are also considering starting a fall trash tournament following USF's annual novice academic tournament. Also, thanks to our moderators Anthony Napolitano (Nap is, of course, the founder of BB), Ahmad Ragab, and Steve Ohm, and mad props to Steve for handling the stats when he wasn't moderating. Thanks to Jeremy Rasmussen of USF and the folks from DuPauw University for submitting blind packets, and to those teams who submitted their packets well before the last minute, making the last minute stress just a bit more bearable. Congrats to the winning team, The Fred Durst Agreeance Society Swat Team, composed of the unstoppable combination of Mark Franklin, Jeff Zahnen, and two other members whose names unfortunately escape me. They went undefeated in the round robin and the playoffs, and won the grand prize, an Irish seven course meal. The coveted first place Foster's Oil Can trophy went to Joe Grimes of UF, and the neg award to USF's own Mike Lopez. Full stats will be posted as soon as I figure out how to work the spreadsheet. And when I organize the tournament questions scattered about my hard drive, they will be available in Word format to any team who wants to purchase them. Also, the 11 rounds of fun will be available for sale/trade to those who didn't appear at BB3, just email me if you're interested. Rob Fernandez
