Agreed, completely, and I guess I should have stated that I agreed with the rest of Adam's post. It just irritates me a bit to see this point come at the expense of something like music from "other parts of the world" (read "canon expansion where it is needed"). I also agree that biographical questions should pop up less than actual knowledge about, among other things, music, literature, and _science_, although I don't see any reason to _completely_ ban these from packets either, as, while they may not reward what you learned in class (especially for science), they are viable, learnable knowledge (maybe restrict them to 1/1 or 0/1 or 1/0 per packet for science?) Main point: Finnish music, or music from any culture, should not be restricted to a single composer, or writer or painter for that matter. Science is, indeed, a different issue.
