Princeton's "experimental" first trash tournament just finished now,
so I thought I'd post some quick results before I put up the full
stats (don't have them on my computer yet).
A team consisting of Matt Weiner of VCU, Adam Fine and Chris
Chrzanowski of Maryland, and Mark ? of Lehigh went undefeated in the
original eight team round robin, then defeated second ranked Delaware
A again in the last game of the playoff bracket in a competitive
215-205 match that came down to the last question. The
VCU/Maryland/Lehigh team won the first annual Jersey Trash
championship, and Delaware took second.
High scorers were, in order: Matt Weiner, "Don Cheadle" of Delaware,
Mike from Maryland, and Adam Fine.
More specific results, thank yous, and remarks to follow once I get
the full stats up. Also, since Berkeley has expressed some possible
interest in mirroring the tournament next week, I would like to ask
that specific question and packet discussion not occur publicly on
this board until their tournament is over.
