Mark also created, hosted, and produced "The Radio Game Show" in San Diego, a show on KFI in Los Angeles, and a nightly game show on KENO-AM 1460 Las Vegas. Mr. Richards will speak on his experiences as a contestant, producer, and host at the 2nd Game Show Congress, July 12th 2003 at the Hampton Inn Tropicana in Las Vegas, Nevada. His unique perspective of the game show industry has led him to develop a set of "Inside Secrets" of how people can improve their chance of being selected as a contestant and how to succeed on their favorite television game show. As a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, he will also examine the degrees of skill and knowledge required in various game shows and quiz events as juxtaposed to that of games of chance. Other presentations at the 2nd Game Show Congress include a discussion by industry analyst Steve Beverly on "The future of Television Game Shows"; a presentation by Dr. Kevin Olmstead – top winner in television game show history on the "Top Ten Most Frequently Asked Questions about the Millionaire Experience"; Jim Oliva speaking about "The World's Largest Radio Trivia Marathon"; a presentation on NTN trivia which is found in over 3000 venues across the USA and is a training ground for people moving on to television game shows; a panel discussion with the top 3 winners in television game show history and other successful contestants; a game show and quiz event question writing workshop; and a session to "design the perfect game show".
